It's been 2 years since I owned a camera, and 6 months since I had access to one (which isn't changing anytime in the foreseeable future). All my cash is taken up with paying for rent, food, student loan and heathcare at the moment, as I'm unable to work full-time and can't access welfare, so I thought I'd give this a go. My old account syntheta-nz.deviantart.com/ was started when I was in highschool to share all the drawings I was doing at the time. When I started taking a few photos of Cambridge etc with my point-and-shoot camera, I figured I'd upload them to that dA account.
Now I have rather a lot more photos, the large majority of which have not been uploaded, which were taken when I had a Nikon SLR for a few months (couldn't afford to keep it) and while borrowing my friends' Canon SLRs. I also have about 9 new drawings on the way, for the first time in many years. This and the fact that there's not much overlap in subject matter between my drawings and photography has prompted me to create a new account for photography.
I'll be uploading the best 20 or so of my old Lumix shots all at once first, and then move on to submitting my recent stuff
